Because blogs by their very nature are about timeliness, the top of the page is always the most recent musings about Dad and his illness. Or maybe just about me and my stupidity. Whatever they are about, they are unfolding from the most recent to the furthest back.
It is an unfortunate conceit in some ways; the most timely revelations aren’t always the most time-sensitive, if you get the distinction; in many ways this whole thing reads better as a book, unfolding chapter and verse the way that we (and by “we” I mean “I”, with the understanding that I’m taking the liberty of exposing my whole family’s experience) live it day by day.
If you want to read it according to the dictates of the “blog” by all means, have at it. If you want to read it as an experience unfolding into the future, go back to the earlier entries first, which are in chronological order here, as they were written.
Thank you for sharing this interesting, confusing, sad but funny saga with us.
